Winter Wonderland

Tonight is the Morgan Volunteers PTO Winter Wonderland Dance from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the gymnasium. This is a free event for Morgan families at attend as a way for our PTO to say THANK YOU for all you do to support Morgan Elementary and all of our students. Each student that attends will receive a raffle ticket to win the big tower of candy. THANK YOU to Mrs. Felosak for organizing this event, and to the parents who helped decorate, organize, and run this event.

The PTO met last Tuesday evening at the Hamlin Pub for their monthly meeting. At the end of this year, three of the PTO Board members will be moving on with their children to the junior high level. Morgan is also losing parents who organize Bagel Day, volunteer as copy help, and serve as lunch monitors at the end of this year. If you enjoy all the things our PTO provides for Morgan students, help by volunteering to be a part of the PTO! The next meeting will be Monday, February 10, at 6:30 PM at the Hamlin Pub. Come learn more about serving as the President, Treasurer, Facebook manager, Bagel Day coordinator, Restaurant Night coordinator, and more. Our present members are willing to help any new volunteers with the transition into the leadership role throughout the remainder of the school year. Official elections will take place in April of this year for new officers. More information can be found on the Morgan Volunteers web page and Facebook page.

Looking for something to do this weekend, check out the "Pop" Up Party at the Shelby Township Library on January 25, from 1:30 - 2:30 in the cafeteria. They will be featuring things that pop with activities, games, and snacks. Before you leave, check out a good book to share at home later.

Have a good week!

Mrs. Lasky
